Transformer C-type clamp is made of special aluminum alloy material, has a strong electrical conductivity. It is not only for aluminum wire, but also for copper wire and copper and aluminum transition wires.The clamp is mainly used in the connection between conductors and incoming and outgoing threaded tube of transformers and switches etc. One end which is not completely closed has a threaded pipe connected to the stud, the other end connected with the conductor; through the hinge wedge to compression connect the the internal thread tube and conductor. Not completely closed Threaded tube is flexible, can store and release the energy caused by thermal expansion and contraction of the conductor and threaded tube. When the conductor expand due to the load increase, the thread tube will be slightly opened; when the conductor shrinks, the threaded tube will recover due to its own elasticity, and always maintain a constant contact pressure (total respiration).
The hinge wedge mounted between the threaded pipe and the conductor can produce a very large side pressure under certain conditions, resulting in a sufficiently large contact between the C-clamp and the conductor and the transformer stud, So that the transformer stud and the internal thread of the tube is fully consistent, greatly increasing the contact surface between the transformer stud and C-type clamp to maintain a stable contact performance.
Applicable voltage level: 380V, 10kV, 20kV, can be used for aluminum to aluminum, aluminum to copper, copper to copper, copper to aluminum connection.
◆Determine the type: carefully check that the conductor and clamp model are the same or not, such as: Model SCB-122, M12 means the transformer head screw is M12, JKLYJ35 is for outgoing conductor.
◆Fixed g-shaped parts: the "g" shape is to be clockwisely screwed to the transformer head screw, "g" -shaped components is fully screwed and extended out.
Provisions: the mother blovk with transformer arc , the public block with conductor; put out the hinge block to make it into an arch (two hinges shape into a certain angle).
◆Put in place the conductors and bolts: Place the conductos in the "g" -shaped troughs and insert them into an arcuate hinge block according to the arcs and conductors (note that the hinged blocks do not have to be separated, bowed outward). Insert the bolt from the back of the "g" shape so that the bolt is in the middle of the top of the hinge and tighten the bolt with a wrench.
◆To ensure complete installation: tighten the bolt, there should be a clear sense of force on the last few screws; flatten the hinge pressure to withstood "g" shaped components.
◆Disassembly: Loosen the bolt, insert a screwdriver between the briquettes and the "C" pieces, and push up the force so that the briquettes can be turned upwards.
